This project attributed to most of my final grade whilst at University. I wanted to make a town that wouldnt be out of place in a single player RPG/MMORPG.
Hidden away in a sheltered valley built on the cliffsides and on the banks of the river at the base of a waterfall. The player would stop off here during the storyline to meet characters and stock up on supplies.
All the textures in the scene are hand painted using a Graphics tablet, Mixmapping was used on the terrain to blend between different surface types such as rock/grass/sand.
Intended to be a low poly environment to practice model optimization to minimize the poly count for assets.
